Registration and accomodation

The summer school takes place at a school for young people.
If you choose to stay overnight at the school, you can choose between 2 and 3 bed rooms, all with a shared bathroom in the hallway. There is room for a total of 140 people and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

There are NO duvets, pillows, bed linen or towels on site. Participants from abroad have the option to rent bedding (duvet, pillow and cover) and towels for a fee. Participants from Denmark must bring their own.

If you have special needs in connection with accommodation, you can contact the summer school committee. Please send an inquiry describing your need to skolekomite@bahai.dk.

More comfort
For those who want more comfort (e.g. Kerteminde Efterskole only has shared bathing/toilet facilities) there are many alternatives in the area: hotels, inns and summer houses. They can be found by searching online, but be aware that Kerteminde is a popular tourist area, so don’t wait too long if you want this type of accommodation. The friends who choose this solution only pay as day guests and meals at the summer school.

Accommodation in a tent
It will also be possible to spend the night in a tent on the school grounds, with use of all facilities at the school. Easy and cheap – perhaps especially for the slightly younger participants. Naturally, the participants must bring their own tent and whatever else is needed in relation to this.

Virtual participation
For those who do not have the opportunity to physically participate in the summer school, there will be an opportunity to follow selected lectures online. The cost of virtual participation is DKK 400 for the whole school. It requires registration in advance via the registration form.

Registration
The deadline for registration is latest July 1st, but we encourage the Danish friends who have already planned to participate to register before too long.
